Responsible Care: Kem One wins special 'winning collaboration' award

Kem One's purchasing department received the special "winning collaboration" award at the Responsible Care Awards ceremony on Wednesday 23 November in Paris, for its responsible purchasing approach.

Kem One is one of the seven winners honoured by France Chimie at the Responsible Care Awards ceremony on Wednesday 23 November at the Verso Centre in Paris. The purpose of these awards is to recognise innovative companies in their approach to sustainable development.

The special "winning collaboration" prize was awarded to Kem One's purchasing department for structuring a responsible purchasing approach. This prize is all the more symbolic as it illustrates the company's partnership values.

Reaffirming the importance of CSR

Sylvie Latieule, Gilles Bon-Maury, Patrice Liogier, and Frédéric Fournet, at the Responsible Care ceremony

Sylvie Latieule, moderator and editor-in-chief of Infochimie & Chimie pharma Hebdo, opened the event with a round table discussion. The speakers, Gilles Bon-Maury, permanent secretary of the CSR platform of France stratégie, Patrice Liogier, director of projects at the Direction générale des entreprises, and Frédéric Fournet, managing director of Alsachimie, discussed the importance of the Responsible Care standard (external link to Responsible Care) and the integration of CSR issues by small and medium-sized companies.

 

"The awarding of these trophies allows us, as employees of the federation, to have a direct link with the concrete achievements of our members. This edition shows that everyone can act, small companies as well as large groups.
