Our “Kem First” program, which includes competitiveness projects and industrial investments, is now backed by a financing plan. 

As you know we have made significant investments in recent years to upgrade our production network, including the recent conversion project in Fos-Sur-Mer, and this agreement with our owner and lenders will support these investments. This upgrade of our production sites will enable improved competitiveness and long-term sustainability, and we are focused on all projects to recover profitability and growth.

Apollo has been instrumental in obtaining this financing (200M€) and has been a key driver to bring this to a successful completion. They have also made available approximately 30M€ of cash to the benefit of Kem One if needed for future growth or liquidity support. Their unwavering support and commitment have been invaluable to our success

This is a positive development for us that will help to fund our long-term business plan, including value-accretive investments in our production facilities, enhancing our position throughout Europe. This strengthens our financial position, ensuring we have the necessary resources to navigate economic challenges and industry fluctuations, for the long term. The transaction will help to provide further long-term stability for the business and our operations.

This funding support enables us to now focus on completing our key projects as part of our long-term business plan, and continue as a leading chlorovinyls producer, the second largest manufacturer of PVC in Europe and the biggest producer of caustic soda in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean.

We now need to focus on completing our projects and ensuring we achieve our targets in safety, reliability, and cost competitiveness, as per our business plan
